• St. Lawrence College was founded in 1980 to uphold the basic principles of British education and to cater for the needs not only of British expatriates but of any family which desired a British education for its children.
• The school aims to provide the full range of what is best in British education, thereby opening the door for entry into tertiary education in the U.K., U.S.A. and, indeed, all over the world.
• Pastorally, our aim is to devote particular care to the welfare of our pupils as individuals, in an environment which is caring and co-operative. We believe in, and we try to nurture, the traditional values of courtesy, honesty, diligence and responsibility.
The School is ideally situated geographically and, by extension, is easily accessible to and from all suburbs. The super highway Attiki Odos means that northern suburbs such as Kifissia and Halandri are 35 and 25 minutes away respectively whilst southern suburbs such as Voula and Glyfada are 15 and 20 minutes away. In its 25th year of operation, St. Lawrence College moved to a new campus in Koropi – a well designed and well equipped school set in a 16 acre peaceful country environment. From the modern suite of science laboratories to the library’s reading room to the 400 seat amphitheatre all the way through to the state of the art computer labs, all-weather tennis courts, swimming pool(33×25) and all-purpose indoor gymnasium, the school’s extensive facilities serve to complement the high academic standing of the College.
